ME
I looked exactely like the other children of my age, except that I didn't like to express myself speaking, using these boring things called words. Instead I drew. I felt like this until I was seven, and you can imagine how my family was worried about it.
Then, one day, I made the bad mistake to start talking, so that I became considered "normal".
As a result, I did all my studies until I graduated in International Economics at the "Tor Vergata" University of Rome.
I'm still trying to figure out the reason for the choice of studying Economics, and maybe it lies on the bed of the fate. Indeed, I decided to go to Berlin for seven months to study.
Thanks to that my father, a great photo-amateur, bought me a reflex camera, a Canon EOS5000, an easy one but a really good one to start.
From the moment I took the first picture, my life changed. I felt totally embraced by photography and all my mental aptitude and proneness to visual art came out again, with the fortune that I was also in the mood to speak.
That happened three years ago, and from that moment I started to see clearly what I wanted to do and what I wanted to become. In one year I had finished my studies at the university and then I moved to Berlin again, not to study the trend of the jobless-rate, but to attend a photo-school, the "Neue Schule für Fotografie - Berlin". Thanks to my teachers and my collegues, in less than one year I learned a lot about the magic world of photography, about its rules and about the importance of the own personality and the own culture to break other rules without fear but with the power of the interpretation.
I am a photographer.
